Please read these terms carefully before using our parcel delivery services
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of GA TARAR BUSINESS SERVICES LTD parcel delivery services. By booking a parcel delivery with us, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services
GA TARAR provides parcel delivery services through trusted carriers including DPD and Royal Mail. We act as an intermediary to arrange collection and delivery of your parcels. Services are provided subject to availability and the terms of our delivery partners.
3. Booking and Payment
When booking a parcel delivery:
- You must provide accurate parcel details including size, weight, contents, and destination address
- Payment terms will be agreed upon at the time of booking
- Quotes are valid for the period specified and may be subject to change
- Full payment may be required before dispatch
4. Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited and cannot be sent through our service:
- Illegal substances or items
- Hazardous materials (flammable, explosive, toxic)
- Perishable items without proper packaging
- Cash, currency, or negotiable instruments
- Items prohibited by DPD or Royal Mail
- Items that violate any laws or regulations
We reserve the right to refuse any parcel that we deem inappropriate or prohibited.
5. Packaging and Labeling
You are responsible for ensuring your parcel is properly packaged and labeled. Parcels must be securely packaged to withstand normal handling during transit. We may repackage items if necessary, but we are not responsible for damage due to inadequate packaging.
6. Delivery Times and Delays
Delivery times are estimates based on the service selected and destination. While we strive to meet delivery estimates, we cannot guarantee exact delivery times. Delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including weather, customs, carrier delays, or incorrect address information.
7. Liability and Insurance
Our liability is limited as follows:
- We are not liable for loss or damage to prohibited items
- We are not liable for damage due to inadequate packaging
- Our liability is limited to the value declared by you or the carrier's standard compensation, whichever is lower
- We recommend purchasing additional insurance for valuable items
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
8. Claims and Disputes
If you need to make a claim for loss or damage, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery (or expected delivery date for lost items). Claims must be supported by appropriate documentation. Claims will be processed in accordance with the carrier's terms and conditions.
9. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation policies vary depending on the service and timing. If you cancel before collection, you may be entitled to a refund minus any processing fees. If cancellation occurs after dispatch, no refund will be provided. Please contact us to discuss cancellation options.
10. Data Protection
We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, or government actions.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
